On May 30th, Dav was playing Ultimate Frisbee with the University Ward. He was running full speed to catch the frisbee, dove for it, and landed on his left shoulder. He heard something crack and immediately had Karl and Scott take him to the ER. They called Brad and Robin and we went over there. After x-rays and pain medication a sling and a figure of eight, they sent us home. In the morning we went to see a surgeon named Dr. Christopher Hogg. He said Dav needed surgery to fix his clavical. So on Wednesday, June 8th I took him to Memorial Medical Center for surgery. We went at 7:00am, his actual surgery was 4 hours and they let me bring him home at 3:00pm. The Dr. said his clavical was broken in four places. Poor Dav! It's his Bummer Summer! He isn't going to be able to drive or work for 6 weeks!
